Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-31

Flip Clock Pure is designed to be local-first. The app does not require an account, does not sell data, and does not run a backend. This policy covers the app and the public support website.

Information we collect

We do not intentionally collect personal information from the app.

  • No account or login is required.
  • No analytics SDK is used in the app itself.
  • No advertising ID usage is built into the app.

Information stored on your device

The app stores settings locally on your device so your preferences persist.

  • Theme
  • Clock scale
  • Date visibility
  • Flip flap visibility
  • Burn-in protection
  • Reminder preferences if you enable them

Local reminders

If you enable weekly reminders, the app requests the device notification permission and schedules local notifications only. The reminders are not push notifications, do not use a backend, and are not tied to any account.

Third-party services

The app is not designed around third-party data services. Platform-level services such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or the operating system itself may process limited device or store metadata as part of normal distribution and operation.

Website logs

If you visit the public website, the hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and page request information for security and delivery purposes. The public site is intended to avoid forms and avoid collecting personal data.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general utility product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Settings remain on-device. We do not maintain a user database because the app is built to work without one.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever adds analytics, accounts, a backend, or other data collection, this policy will be updated before release so the public wording stays honest.

This policy is intentionally concise because the product is intentionally simple: no account, no ads, no backend, and no data sale.
